Trust & Privacy

This page is maintained by Rock Lane Marina to answer common security and privacy questions about the competitive pricing tracker. It describes controls currently enabled in the app. It is not an independent certification or audit.

What this app does
Scope of data collected and shown

The tracker records publicly observable boat rental rates and posted gas prices at Rock Lane Marina and other local marinas. Entries include the check date, day of week, marina, rates, and optional notes.

The app does not collect personal customer information, payment data, reservation data, or any data about marina customers.

Accounts and access
Who can view and who can edit

Viewing the dashboard is open to anyone — the tracked rates are public competitive information.

Adding, editing, or deleting rate entries and marinas requires a signed-in account. Sign-in supports email and password or Google.

Database access rules enforce that unsigned visitors cannot write, update, or delete records.

Hosting and storage
Where data lives

The app runs on managed cloud infrastructure provided by Lovable Cloud. Data is stored in a managed Postgres database with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest as provided by the platform.

Authentication and account credentials are handled by the managed auth service; passwords are never stored in this app's database.

Retention and deletion
How long entries are kept

Rate entries are retained indefinitely so the team can analyze trends over time. Signed-in users with edit access can delete any entry from the dashboard.

To request deletion of an account or other questions, contact Rock Lane Marina directly.
